THE BROCKVILLE CONCERT ASSOCIATION IS PROUD TO PRESENT AN ONLINE CONCERT FEATURING TWO LOCAL YOUTH MUSICIANS:
ANDREAS ARZOUMANIAN AND MATTHEW O'HALLORAN
Andreas Arzoumanian is a 16 year old from Brockville, Ontario, with a passion for classical music and martial arts. Beethoven and Brahms are two of his biggest inspirations. Their powerful crescendos contrasted with emotive melodic sections resonate deeply with Andreas’ musical ideas. He started playing piano at 4 years of age and instantly fell in love. Today, piano continues to be a priority in his life, and he hopes to continue to deepen his skills and musical knowledge through higher education. An award-winning young musician, he loves sharing his passion for music, whether contributing to community functions or events, participating in local concerts, or helping support younger aspiring musicians.
Matthew O'Halloran is a 17-year-old pianist, composer, and sound designer from Brockville who will be commencing his Bachelor of Music in Performance, Jazz at the University of Toronto this September (remotely). Matthew is releasing a three-track EP titled "In the Evening" across all digital platforms, which includes his teacher from the Brockville branch of the Canada Music Academy, Bryne Carruthers, as bassist on the recordings. https://mohmusic.ca/
The Brockville Concert Association is very excited to support these two extremely talented pianists from Brockville!

Andreas will perform Johannes Brahms: Rhapsody Op. 79, No. 1 in B minor.
Matthew will present Frédéric Chopin: Scherzo No. 2 in B-flat minor, Op. 31; and Charlie Parker: Billie's Bounce.
